DINNER DEBATE IN HONOUR OF SIR TIM BERNERS-LEE ON THE CHALLENGES OF THE INTERNET

What will the Internet become? What are the latest trends and insights on the further development of the web? What are the critical issues to consider, both from a technical and a socio-political angle, to lead the web to its full potential?

An exciting dinner debate was held by EIF in honour of Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web.

Tim Berners-Lee is the 3COM Founders Professor of Engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is the Director of the World Wide Web Consortium, of the World Wide Web Foundation, and co-Director of the Web Science Research Initiative.
