Venue: Private Salon, Members Restaurant, European Parliament in Brussels (see map) In view of this year’s Internet Governance Forum to be held in Nairobi on 27-30 September under the general theme “Internet as a catalyst for change: access, development and innovation”, this specific EIF event will offer an opportunity to exchange views on the state of play to date and expectations for Nairobi. Special attention will be given to the preparatory work carried out in synergy between the European Commission and the European Parliament and the workshops they are contributing to shape on the highly topical issues around cloud governance and stability & resilience of the internet. More in general, this will be an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of Internet Governance and the multiple dimensions it comprises.
