Making the most of the digital dividend

EIF Breakfast Debate

brouchure

The switchover from analogue to digital terrestrial TV will free up substantial amounts of radio spectrum (digital dividend).

This will represent a unique opportunity for Europe: if the digital dividend will be managed efficiently and effectively through a coordinated strategy, it will bring new and innovative wireless communication services, expand services offered by broadcasters, as well as provide a wide range of social and cultural benefits.

Further to the Spectrum Summit taking place on 22-23 March and in connection to EIF dinner on “broadband and the potential of mobile connectivity” on the previous evening, this breakfast will offer a timely opportunity to discuss the outcomes of the Summit, with a special focus on the digital dividend and the Multi-annual Spectrum Policy Programme (MSPP).
