Katrine Ellersgaard is service leader for the digital economy service at Copenhagen Economics where she has been part of the competition economist team since 2011.
Katrine specialises in advising clients on competition issues, regulatory design and digital economy issues. In competition work, she has been engaged in a number of cases concerning anti-trust, mergers and acquisitions and state aid. Within digital economy she has led projects on assessments of barriers to digital markets, economic footprint analysis and the productivity discussion.
Katrine comes with a background from the IT sector, where she has worked seven years in IBM, latest as technology strategist in IBM Global Business Services. She has wide experience in analyzing complex questions and communicating the results intuitively.
