On 7th April 2016 the .eu top-level domain (TLD), the extension wanted by the European Union to represent the European online identity, will turn 10. During the past decade over 3,9 million .eu domain names have been registered, out of which over 30% by SMEs that have chosen the .eu to show that they are a European and an international player open for business across the 28 EU Member States, the EEA Countries and beyond.
