The impact of Brexit on data flows

Lunch Debate

brouchure

For European industry and European society in the wider sense, involved in cross-border activities between the UK and the EU, Brexit will lead to many disruptions.

This lunch debate will focus on what is key for the functioning of the Digital Single Market: the continued seamless cross-border exchange of data. This affects not only business activities whether in goods and services, but also R&D, the academic world, government lead projects and many public services.

We will hear from representatives from politics and businesses operating on both sides of the Channel how Brexit impacts on data flows and how they hope to cope with the uncertainty in the run up to and after 29 March 2019.
