On Wednesday, September 6th, I-Com will host a public conference on “THINKING THE FUTURE OF EUROPEAN INDUSTRY. Digitalization, Industry 4.0 and the role of EU and national policies”. The event will be hosted by MEP Patrizia TOIA, Vice-Chair of the ITRE Committee.

For the occasion I-Com will present a new Paper that will investigate the context of Connectivity and Industry, the key drivers and the level of readiness for Industry 4.0 and the policies related to it.

The conference aims at fostering the debate on how the ongoing digital transformation radically changes the way companies can compete, by not only modifying the existing internal processes but also by allowing the development of completely different and innovative business models.

The Paper will be presented and discussed with some of the most relevant stakeholders invited to participate in the discussion, as industry representatives, European Commission officials and MEPs.
