Online platforms

Breakfast debate

Looking back at the different actions of this Commission, can the EU institutions build on the current platform proposals as a stepping stone to create a cohesive European digital platform approach that can boost the economy and re-introduce trust in the online space while solving many of the outstanding issues? Has self-regulation in this space worked, and can Europe lead the way rather than letting different national approaches shape how platforms are regulated?
