Audrie van Veen (1978) is expert in the field of Europe, innovation and regional development. She works as Strategic Advisor for European Affairs at the Amsterdam Economic Board (a public private partnership aiming at sustainable growth in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area in Brussels https://www.amsterdameconomicboard.com/english) and as blogger for Europeanology.eu.
Before, she started her own consultancy and worked as National Contact Point for European research funding at the Dutch government. She also worked as innovation lobbyist for the Dutch technological industry (FME-CWM).
For the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs she worked at the Embassy in Paris as diplomatic Attaché for Science & Technology. As innovation trend watcher in France she described interesting developments for various Dutch stakeholders (policy, science and business). Another task was improving the French-Dutch relations in science and technology. She was also actively following the then brand new French cluster development policy.
Audrie holds a MSc degree (Cum Laude) in Science in Science & Policy Studies from Utrecht University.
